revision sites for Sociology
On-line Revision suits a number of students. Some of the better sites to use are listed below (but please do talk your revision plans through with JB so that we can make sure they are as effective as possible):
http://www.sociology.org.uk/drevise.htm
This isn't the most attractive site, but if you get used to it you will find it very helpful. It has a range of different revision methods: revision cards; mind maps; notes. Although it is officially constructed to support revision for another exam board, it was made by the guy that wrote our text book. Most of it is relevant to what we do.
http://www.s-cool.co.uk/a-level/sociology
Less information and easy to use. It is a good place to start.
https://revisesociology.wordpress.com/
This has lots of information. Only use it if you have time.
http://sociologytwynham.com/
I haven't used this regularly. I would be interested to know what you think of it.
http://www.sociologyguide.com/
Lots of interesting pages that might help your learning.
